Guess what? Around the Lens is officially 10 years old! What better way to celebrate than to reinvigorate the platform with a new podcast. This new podcast is called Roundtable Discussions and as the name implies, there are roundtable discussions with photography, photojournalism and filmmaking professionals who discuss interesting and relevant topics related to our career field.
Now, you might be asking your self, “wait, wasn’t that the point of the original Around the Lens show?” For the most part, you’re correct, but with our new initiative we’re changing Around the Lens from just a show, to an entire platform, and as such, are expanding the nature and types of shows the platform creates. So, as mentioned in our other post, we’re doing this show, plus interview shows, review shows and much, much more. All these shows will carry the Around the Lens moniker.
This week’s episode, features returning guests Mike “Sharky” James and Jamie Rose, along with long time co-host Zach D. Roberts. The team discuss generative AI and its impacts on the world of photography and photojournalism.
