A drone flyer, or droner, flew his drone, although probably not purposely, into the top of the Space Needle. The drone was recovered by Space Needle personnel and now the city is looking to give the droner a $5,000 fine and possibly 364 days in jail. This is why, although very enticing, you should stay away from very populated big cities with your drone. This is addition to avoiding areas that are off limits due to FAA regulation. It’s just not worth the potential incrimination or fine.
I recently flew my Mavic Pro around the Houston area and I was always very cognizant of where the drone was flying and made sure to stay out of the radius of the airport. Don’t be stupid with you drone people.
