I’m an unabashed supporter of Panasonic. I own and love my GH4, not only for it’s small size and high quality, but because it allows me to shoot 4K video at a reasonable price. Since getting the camera, I’ve been looking at other cameras from Panasonic as a potential second shooter for video. Well out comes the GX85, a new, cheaper upgrade to the GX8. While the camera does reduce megapixels from 20 to 16, it actually improves every other feature and can still shoot UHD video at 24 and 30 fps.
