• Nikon has released the next iteration in their professional DSLR camera series aimed primarily at sports shooters, the D-line.
• The camera boasts a 20.8 MP display, full frame CMOS sensor, can shoot 4K/30p, and has a 105-point all-cross-type AF system, touting it as “the most powerful AF system in Nikon’s history.”
• What are our thoughts on this new camera? Is it worth it for your line of work? Would you consider this over a mirrorless camera like Sony’s A9 or Panasonic’s S1? Should we anticipate a D7 in the five to 10 years?
