• What do we think of her accommodations and life style?
• Do you think this kind of living could be feasible for you and your work life? Feasible for a visual journalist? Would you ever consider living like this either today or in the past?

Topic 2: Freelance Bill Affecting Lives

• The recently passed AB5 bill in California and the proposed S6699A in New York, will have tremendous impacts on freelancers in both those states.
• How do we feel about the restrictions these new bills imposes/will impose? For instance in California, AB5 limits freelancers to 35 jobs with one client before they have to be brought on as employee.
• Many feel these bill will have dramatic consequences on their lives. How do we inform others about the negative effects of these bills and prevent their passage?

• The same company that made the Platypod is coming out with the Platyball, a new tripod ball mount with knobless design and LED indicator.
• What do we think of this new tripod head? Would we buy it?
• Do you use a tripod in your work generally? Would something like this have a place in your work?
