David J. MurphyComments Off on Think Tank Announces Lens Case Duo System
Think Tank Photo has just announced a line of lens cases called the Lens Case Duo. This series of six lens cases come in a variety of sizes to accomodate almost any prime, wide, zoom and telephoto lens you have in your collection. The cases range in size from the smallest, known as the Lens Case Duo 5, which can hold lenses like the Canon/Nikon 18-55mm and Olympus 12-40mm to the Lens Case Duo 40 which can hold a Canon/Nikon/Sony 70-200mm f 2.8 with hood, among other telephotos.
The only lenses these new cases can’t hold are most super massive 300mm and up camera lenses. Then again, if you’re hauling those things around you probably already have a giant rolling case, so you wouldn’t need this lens case.
I’ll be honest, I have never used individual lens cases in my life, opting mostly for camera bags, or, in a pinch, cargo pockets, but I’m interested in seeing how this lens case can be integrated into my workflow. I’ll provide a full review of my experience in the coming weeks.
